Free tool for call center agents, team leads, and workforce managers. Enter your start time, end time, and break minutes to instantly see total worked hours, regular hours, and overtime — including overnight shifts.
Subtract the start time from the end time to get the total shift span. Then subtract unpaid break minutes (short breaks and lunch) to get paid worked hours. Anything above the standard daily threshold (typically 8 hours) counts as overtime, usually paid at 1.5x the regular rate.
If the end time is earlier than the start time, the calculator assumes the shift crossed midnight and adds 24 hours automatically — useful for night-shift call center teams.
Accurate shift duration data drives schedule adherence, occupancy rate, and payroll accuracy. AgentFlow Hub automates this across your whole team — this calculator gives you a quick single-shift answer.
